Inline Speed Skates

Inline speed skates are a type of skate designed for competitive speed skaters. Like roller skates and other inline skates, inline speed skates have a single axle with 3-4 wheels that slide into the axle and are held in place by a long axle nut. These skates have a very short low-waisted boot that makes it easier for speed skaters to go deep into their turns.

The wheels of these skates range from 75 mm to 130 mm. Most inline speed skaters compete in the 100mm to 130mm range. The larger diameter, thinner wheels allow speed skaters to maintain their speed for longer periods of time.
