Nordic skating is a kind of ice skating, just like ice hockey, figure ice skating, or speed ice skating. Unlike those roller or inline skates, Nordic skates are designed to sliding on natural ice. Nordic skates are often mounted with bindings and boots designed for Nordic cross-country skiing.
