What Is Die Casting

Die casting also known as pressure casting, is a manufacturing process in which a liquid or semi-liquid alloy is quickly pressed into a cavity under high pressure and solidified under pressure to obtain a casting. The molds are created using steel and are specially designed for each project. This allows each component to be created with accuracy and repeatability. Aluminum, zinc, and magnesium are the most commonly used die casting alloys. Usually, the injection pressure is 30~70MPa, and the filling speed is about 0.5-50m / s, the filling time is 0.01-0.2 s.
