The Structure Of Inline Skates

Apr 28, 2022

Inline skates are composed of upper and lower shoes. Uppers are flat shoes or high-top boots above the skating frame. The lower shoe refers to the frame and its below parts, including the frame, the wheels, the bearing in the middle of the wheels, and the mounting screw for threading the skate frame and the upper shoe.

Skate frame: frame connects the wheel to the upper shoes. The material and structure form of skating frame is the second key point that decides the performance of inline skates. CNC extruded aluminum skating frame is a better choice. Because aluminum is stiffer and lighter, but it is more expensive.

Skate Wheel: The wheel is composed of outer wheel glue and inner hard hub. The hardness of wheel rubber varies from 80A to 85A (A is the hardness mark). The higher the number, the harder the wheel.

Bearing: the bearing is installed in the wheel hub, a bearing is installed on both sides of the wheel, and a bearing positioning sleeve is installed between the two bearings to position the bearing and achieve the ideal state of bearing rotation.

Axel: The screws that hold the wheel to the skating frame

Mounting screw: The screw that holds the skating frame under the upper shoe.
