Strong, Stable And Elastic Gold Arc
Oct 04, 2021
The deeper than usual tube seat and the PM64HRC steel runner bottom give the Mepps "Golden Arc" skate stability, greatly reducing the risk of disintegration when starting or hitting. The "Golden Arc" has radial curves that require less bending than previous phases, reducing the need for maintenance, enhanced hardness, and longer life expectancy.
This year Mepps introduced a new short track speed skate. The next step is that the current Mepps "Golden Speed" and now "Golden Jun FG" are also prepared with a radial curve blade.
After a survey by Mepps on the development of the ice knife, it has affected the current demand and availability of this type of product. We then 'had to' integrate existing products with The high quality standards of Meipus and our latest technological improvements.
The Mepps "Golden Arc" skate has a 1mm deeper tube holder than most short-track skates and is more stable due to the blade's skating characteristics. In addition, the gold Arc skate standard * uses PM (POWDER metallurgy) 64HRC steel, attached to the bottom of the runner, providing all the advantages of skater PM. Although complete PM skate instances occur frequently, the risk of cracking on the skate is minimized from the start or during a collision.
Mebers uses new technology to connect the skates to the tube seat, ensuring that all blades are made of a very high quality. The socket itself is straight but has a radial curved cut that sticks to the runner in a special way. With radial curves, skates require less initial bending and maintenance, providing skates with hardness and longer life.
For improved user friendliness the "golden arc" blade features marker points to an inch apart throughout the tube, enabling the skater to mark the bend position. This can be conveniently used to quickly recreate good skate blades, such as after swinging, or to prepare a new (or spare) blade combination.
