How To Brake Your Inline Skates
Dec 07, 2023
Inline skating is a fun activity that allows you to enjoy the outdoors while getting some exercise. However, it's important to know how to brake properly to stay safe. Here are some tips on how to brake your inline skates:

1. T-Stop: This is the most basic and widely used method of braking. You simply turn one foot so that it's perpendicular to the other foot, creating a "T." Your back foot should drag on the ground until you come to a complete stop.
2. Plough Stop: This is another common method of braking. You bring your feet together, with your toes pointing outward. You then dig your heels into the ground and use your thighs to slow yourself down.
3. Power Stop: This is a more advanced method of braking that requires some practice to master. You lift one foot off the ground and turn it sideways, then use the inside edge of your other skate to brake.
No matter which method you use, it's important to practice and be aware of your surroundings to avoid accidents. Happy skating!
